At Garden Oaks Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, we believe every patient deserves a comfortable experience. While we can accomplish this with a home-like environment, warm and friendly greetings, and patient amenities, we also provide a full suite of the most modern technologies. Designed to provide greater accuracy and precision, they also allow us to provide a positive and more comfort-focused approach to our patients. Soft and Hard Tissue Laser

Traditional scalpels and sutures may still be the preferred method for many dental professionals, but Dr. Ruehle and Dr. Eide have a more forward-thinking approach – laser dentistry. With the help of our Waterlase and LightWalker II all-tissue lasers, and our EzLase, Epic X and NdYag soft tissue lasers, we can treat gum disease without painful invasive surgery, create more balanced and beautiful gumlines and treat painful muscles and ulcers to relive or eliminate pain quickly. Our all-tissue lasers remove decay more gently and less invasively than traditional methods while leaving the tooth more resistant to further decay.

Digital Impressions

When it comes to creating a customized restoration, we don’t bother with messy dental putty. Instead, we turn to our Primescan digital impression system. Combined with CEREC technology, this device allows us to use a handheld scanner on your teeth so that a 3D model appears on a nearby monitor, which is then used to craft the finalized restoration. Instead of waiting weeks for a dental crown, we can produce it in-house while you wait!
CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Certain complex dental services often require more enhanced visual imaging than what traditional digital X-rays can provide. With our Sirona OrthoPhos CT/Cone Beam Scanner, we can quickly scan your mouth and the surrounding structures to create a three-dimensional image that makes it easy for our dentists to examine and analyze the structures and state of your oral health. This high-resolution imaging then allows us to detect possible problems that other radiographs miss and to develop accurate treatment plans that lead to successful results.
3D Printing

Using our PrimePrint 3D printer, we can use medical-grade solutions to produce various products that can be used as part of treatment. Compatible with CEREC software, we can create working models, splints, night guards and surgical guides to make treatment more precise and make your time in our office more streamlined. Its inclusion in our office allows our dentists to be more efficient when it comes to providing timely care to you and your loved ones.
