Her approach focuses on preserving natural teeth whenever possible, identifying potential concerns early, and providing individualized treatment recommendations that support long-term oral health.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Eide was inspired early on by her grandfather, a general physician, whose love for helping others left a lasting impression on her. Knowing she wanted a career in healthcare, she explored several medical fields during high school, including hospital medicine, optometry, and dentistry.
Dentistry immediately stood out. The opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while combining hands-on technical skills, science, and creativity made it the perfect fit.
Today, Dr. Eide continues to find fulfillment in helping patients overcome dental anxiety, understand their treatment options, and feel more confident about their oral health.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Eide earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude in 2011. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, now known as Texas A&M College of Dentistry, in 2016.
After graduation, she gained experience in a variety of dental settings before finding her professional home at Garden Oaks Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. She values being part of a privately owned practice where personalized patient care, meaningful relationships, and long-term oral health are priorities.
Dr. Eide is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Academy of Laser Dentistry. She is also a member of the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry, an organization with a selective membership process requiring an application and vote of acceptance.
Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry & Continuing Education
Dr. Eide has earned the distinguished designation of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), demonstrating her commitment to continuing education and professional excellence.
Achieving Fellowship requires a dentist to complete at least 500 hours of approved continuing education and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination.
With 664 hours of continuing dental education, Dr. Eide has gone beyond these requirements, pursuing additional training across multiple areas of dentistry.
Her continuing education includes restorative and biomimetic dentistry, early orthodontic intervention, laser dentistry, endodontics, dental implants, CEREC same-day crowns, and sleep-related dental care.
This dedication to lifelong learning allows Dr. Eide to continually evaluate evolving dental techniques and provide patients with thoughtful, evidence-informed treatment options.
A Conservative Approach to Dentistry: Preserving Your Natural Teeth
One of Dr. Eide's primary clinical interests is biomimetic restorative dentistry, an approach designed to preserve as much healthy, natural tooth structure as possible.
Through specialized coursework in biomimetic techniques, she has expanded her knowledge of conservative tooth preparation and restorative methods intended to support the natural strength and function of teeth.
Rather than removing more tooth structure than necessary, Dr. Eide emphasizes protecting healthy enamel and dentin whenever clinically appropriate.
This philosophy can be especially beneficial when treating cavities, repairing damaged teeth, or planning dental restorations.
Her goal is to help patients maintain their natural teeth for as long as possible while providing restorations that support lasting comfort, function, and oral health.
Early Orthodontic Intervention, Jaw Development & Airway Health
Dr. Eide has also pursued additional education in functional orthodontic appliances and early childhood jaw development, with particular attention to children who have narrow jaws or developing bite concerns.
She believes that recognizing potential orthodontic and developmental issues during childhood can create opportunities for earlier evaluation and intervention.
Functional orthodontic appliances may be recommended in appropriate cases to help address certain jaw development and bite concerns while children are still growing.
Dr. Eide is also passionate about educating families on the relationship between oral development, breathing, and sleep. Her continuing education includes sleep apnea and dental appliance therapy, helping her better understand how dental and airway-related concerns can intersect.
By taking a comprehensive approach, she helps families understand potential concerns and explore appropriate treatment options or referrals based on their child's individual needs.
Laser Dentistry & Modern Dental Techniques
Dr. Eide's commitment to continuing education extends to several dental laser technologies, including diode lasers, Waterlase/Biolase, and Fotona LightWalker systems.
Her additional laser training has expanded her understanding of how these technologies may be used in appropriate dental procedures.
Depending on the procedure and clinical situation, laser technology can provide options for precise soft-tissue treatment and other dental applications.
By continuing to study different technologies and techniques, Dr. Eide strives to incorporate treatment approaches that support patient comfort, conservative care, and predictable clinical outcomes.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside of work, Dr. Eide enjoys spending time with her husband, Dustin, and their two children, Dylan and Elizabeth.
As a family, they love exploring new playgrounds, catching live music, and visiting relatives across the United States, especially when their travels include a trip to the beach.
Despite her musical tendencies, Dr. Eide admits she cannot whistle, although she frequently catches herself humming during dental procedures. It's a small detail that her patients and team have come to find endearing.
Whether she's spending time with family or caring for patients at Garden Oaks Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Eide approaches life with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to build meaningful connections.
