Your First Visit

You should know that we’ll do everything we possibly can to make you and your family feel welcome at our office, from the moment we answer the phone until you’re scheduling your next visit and saying goodbye. Once you arrive at your appointment, you’ll be greeted by our adminitrative team and have the chance to sit in our cozy, home-like waiting room while we get you checked in.

We’ll then give you a tour of the office as we walk you back, and we’ll also give you the chance to talk about your expectations, smile goals, as well as any past dental experiences you’d like us to know about. You’ll see one of our hygienists first so that we can take updated X-rays if necessary, chart your existing smile and restorations, and check the general health of your teeth and gums.

From there, Dr. Ruehle or Dr. Eide will perform a comprehensive exam to ensure that your mouth is in optimum health, and then discuss with you the nature of any concerns they have and your options for addressing those issues. The hygienist, if appropriate, will perform a thorough cleaning if needed, and before wrapping up, we’ll answer any other questions you have and walk you through your personal treatment plan. You will leave with your next appointment scheduled, as well as a much better understanding of how you and our team will work together to keep your smile in great shape!

Dental Insurance

Our office accepts and will file insurance for all qualified PPO plans. We are happy to take assignments or PPO plans as long as the insurance provider makes payments to the provider. (Several Delta Dental plans will only pay the patient or insured.) If you have any questions, please call us and we will contact your insurance carrier to see what coverage you have. Our office does not participate in any PPO plans. We will file your claim for you and accept the assignment (except as noted above), however, the balance the insurance does not pay will be the responsibility of the patient or guarantor.

Dr Ruehle and Dr Eide believe that the decision of how to treat dental problems should properly be kept in the hands of the Drs and the patients. They do not contract with any insurance plans, because that requires allowing the insurance company to limit treatment options that can be presented to the patient. With our office, you will learn about all the available options so that you may choose which option you prefer. The choice should be yours, not your insurance company’s!

Financing Available

If you don’t have dental insurance and are worried about being able to afford dental care, don’t sweat – you have other options. Our practice is proud to be partnered with third-party financers including CareCredit and Cherry. These financers allow qualifying patients to break up the overall cost of their care into manageable monthly installments, often with very low or no interest rates. This way, you can still get the treatment your smile needs without worrying about your wallet.
